Twilight History
The Swan House has been officially recognized by the town of Forks since 2006 as the real-life, book accurate, home that inspired Charlie and Bella Swan’s house in the Twilight Saga, and is featured in the The Twilight Saga: The Official Illustrated Guide by Stephenie Meyer.
Stephenie Meyer described Bella’s house as a small two-story home with a green lawn, a gravel driveway, and a second-floor bedroom with a view of the trees. That bedroom, and much more, still exists here today. Now under new ownership, the Swan House is being lovingly restored with even more book-accurate details and subtle nods to the films, creating a truly immersive Twilight experience for fans.
The house now features three themed bedrooms, including Bella’s Room and a Quileute-inspired Jacob Room, along with a cozy den known as the Wolf Den. You’ll also find vintage furnishings, a full Twilight DVD set, and plenty of photo-worthy moments throughout the home. Whether you’re reliving Bella’s rainy arrival or gazing out her window waiting for Edward, it’s easy to imagine yourself stepping right into the pages of the story.
While Charlie might be at the police station and Bella’s off with Edward again…you’ve got the keys to their house. Curl up in Bella’s bed, explore the kitchen Rene once painted yellow, and feel like you’ve stepped straight into the saga.
